After graduating from UConn with a passion for the law, Rachel spent years as a paralegal specializing in Family Law and residential real estate transactions in New York. Here's what sets her apart: back before everything was digital, Rachel was doing the work that three different people handle today. She conducted title searches by hand at town clerk offices, resolved liens and title issues, coordinated between all parties, and prepared every closing document — including the complex HUD settlement statements.
When she and her husband Mark moved to Florida with their daughter, what started as an administrative position at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices quickly evolved into her calling as an agent. In her first full year, Rachel achieved multi-million-dollar producer status and earned recognition as one of the top 5 REALTORS® for client satisfaction in Citrus County based on verified reviews. Her favorite part? Pouring over listings late into the night until she finds that perfect fit — and the moment a client walks into "the one" and you can see everything click.
Before joining Rachel in real estate, Mark spent a career in the building trades — 20 years as a licensed plumber, 15 years in construction, and 10 years in master carpentry and furniture making. He's since moved on from that work to sell homes alongside his wife, but the trained eye came with him.
What does that mean for you? While other agents are walking through a home making surface-level observations, Mark notices things — how a home was built, where there might be a maintenance concern, and the difference between quality craftsmanship and a shortcut.
